Mobile Therapy

Mobile Therapy means we come to you, and provide therapy in the comfort of your own home. No, you do not have to be home bound or unable to travel to receive our services. We are outpatient therapy, but rather than having you come in to a clinic where we have to simulate activities in attempt to understand your home scenario, we can see, assess, and adapt your actual environment and create therapy sessions to meet your needs.

  • Complete functional activities during your session and receive feedback and training that is applicable to your home environment

  • Receive therapy treatment focused on your precise needs in your natural environment

  • Save the time and energy of travel and allow us to come to you

Stationed in Covington, Washington, we serve community members in South King and North Pierce County.

What People Say

"I've worked with Heidi over the last month and a half, and am very grateful for the skill, patience, and cheerfulness she has brought to all of our sessions. She has always been encouraging and thorough while tutoring me back to independent living in my own apartment. I highly recommend her to anyone recovering from an injury or surgery who might benefit from her professional skills."

"As a practicing MD I referred many patients to therapy. The choice of therapist was usually arbitrary, some one in the neighborhood and such.

However, eight months ago I was hospitalized with several ailments, and eventually discharged to a nursing facility. That is where I met Heidi and her crew. That is when I learned that the words "No" and "Can't" were not acceptable in my recovery.. I was in a very sorry condition, unable to get out of bed, indifferent to eating, and punished by all the confinement of the Covid-19 virus. Heidi went right to work, leading me in a pleasant, thoughtful way toward recovery. My goal in recovery was to play golf again. I have not made that yet, but Heidi has fashioned some fake golf balls for me to hit, plus practice putting with real balls. She also instructed me in planting my flower garden, what is safe, and what is not. For her thoughtful care, I am very thankful."

"It has been our pleasure to have been participating in Occupational Therapy services provided by Heidi Huynh. She is organized, thorough, and has a gentle, soft spoken approach to individuals needing her services. She quickly accesses an unsafe situation and moves to a safe solution. Her reminders to "put the walker brakes on" are given and received by individuals in a calm manner with logical explanations to emphasize safety.

Her Knowledge of personal assistance equipment is excellent with coordinated problem solving for individual needs. She continues with follow up when needed to acquire necessary skills for success. If other services are being provided (such as PT), she coordinates OT services to enhance and provide a comprehensive therapy environment.

I, and my husband highly recommend her services. She has an analysis with a light approach and humor that provides a calm and successful therapeutic environment as well as a safer home."

"On two occasions after hospitalization, I have been fortunate to have Heidi Huynh’s rehabilitation

care. She has allowed me, through suggestions and demonstrations, to regain the independence

I had lost. Heidi is a talented, experienced professional with a very pleasant personality.

I highly recommend Heidi Huynh to anyone seeking occupational therapy."

I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Heidi Huynh. She was my teacher and personal guide following repeat fall-related orthopedic injuries in my 90s. She provided intensive therapy for me as an inpatient where I could not even sit upright at first to outpatient in our home where I am now fully functioning in large part due to her thoughtful care. She is an expert in accident prevention and was helpful in evaluating all aspects of our apartment. She ensured safety for us in every room and for every activity to make certain we were able to avoid falls and other injuries. My wife and I use her teaching daily and feel we have been taught very useful safety information and skills which we use constantly.

Personally, she is generous and a delight to share her time and knowledge with me, my wife, and her students. She is encouraging and engenders confidence with her calm, patient, and competent demeanor. We truly miss her and know she will be an asset wherever she works. We are grateful for her services and for knowing her. Thank you to Heidi Huynh for her expert help and knowledge.
